I'm having thoughts about Miranda and Shepard's conversation when Shepard warns her about Kai Leng. something about how Shepard asks her to be safe and Miranda refuses to promise that when Shepard can't do the same for her. I'm doing a Miranda romance playthrough right now and in context of a romantic relationship, I find it really fascinating how on the same page they both are with their mortality in this war. they know they both might die tomorrow and neither is willing/able to leave their causes to live for the other but there is some comfort in that. knowing that the person you love and who loves you has the same priorities even if those priorities aren't each other. there is more depth to this romance than I think I was expecting. I kinda love it
